Why was Freeza still a Huge Opponent for Android Saga Tien ?

Mozilla Firefox 16 Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Tien did have his Shin Kihoho .... If that Shin Kihoho was enough to stop Semi perfect Cell from moving , it could even kill Piccolo and Android 16 . Then why did Tien still somewhat fear Freeza ? He always talked about how trunks beat freeza and all

Personally I think it was just a massive Kiai. It can push anyone back but it can't kill them (Unless they're really weak? I'm not sure if Kiai's can kill at all.)

Besides even if his Tri Beam could kill Freeza it doesn't mean Freeza isn't a threat to him. Freeza is just stronger than him in general, and being stronger than Freeza is a big feat to him.

But I don't really think he knew about his kikoho being able to hold even such a powerful foe such as Semi-Perfect Cell. Tien had heard more about Frieza than Cell. But he didn't need to of course try to stop Frieza as he did tried against Cell, because Trunks finished him off for him instead. I'm pretty sure Tien would have tried to do the same against Frieza if he had to somehow. That's what I belive. Edited by Frostmourne, May 15 2013, 02:04 PM.

He wanted to help as much as possible to stop Cell from reaching his Perfect state.
